In December 2007 the Government announced the Putting People First programme to revolutionise the delivery of social care through personal budgets and self-directed support.

Individuals will have more freedom to define their outcomes and the services they require to achieve their goals. The range and choice of service offerings from providers will develop significantly. The customer experience of dealing with local government and social care will be transformed.

Plan My Care is working in partnership with the Young Foundation and Improvement and Efficiency South East (IESE) to provide solutions to help make the vision of personal budgets and self-directed support a reality for all involved.
