Support offered to people in the community is primarily 9 – 5 Monday to Friday however other times are available throughout the week by arrangement such as evenings/ weekends.

Cost is currently £10.90 per hour. Mileage is charged at 25p per mile

Users would need to fund any activity e.g. Cinema, bowling, swimming etc.  Users are not expected to pay for personal assistant entry fees, refreshments etc.

Shaun and Debbie provide a personal assistant service to people with a learning disability, mental health issues, and autism/aspergers syndrome on a self employed basis.

We are experienced carers having worked with vulnerable people in a variety of settings, residential homes, day care, respite units, community projects and have been foster carers. We also provide a placement within our own home for one person to enable them to experience family living and provide stability and consistency. We are both CRB checked and regularly access training to update their skills and knowledge. References can be provided.

We can offer a variety of services to support people in the community, for example shopping trips, 1:1 support at work/education, support within peoples home, facilitate leisure activities, support individuals accessing health appointments, facilitate health action plans, promoting independence and an individualized person centered approach..
The benefit to the purchaser is that they can be offered a high level of consistency to facilitate and promote outcomes. Debbie and/or Shaun can play an active part in fulfilling any person centered plan.
